About the doctorate school GRNE
The Doctoral School of Geosciences, Natural Resources, and Environment (ED 398) was established in 2000 as a partnership between the Faculty of Sciences of Sorbonne University, then known as Pierre and Marie Curie University (UPMC), the National School of Rural Engineering, Water and Forestry (ENGREF) and CEMAGREF, now part of INRAE, and the National School of Mines of Paris (MINES-PSL). The École Nationale Supérieure du Pétrole et des Moteurs (now IFP-School) and IFP Energies Nouvelles (IFPen) have also been associated with ED GRNE since its creation. The ENS-PSL Geosciences Laboratory officially joined ED GRNE on January 1, 2025.
